The People

John Denholm, Chairman

After a career in marketing management at Boots and Scottish & Newcastle, John founded the Leith Agency in 1984.  Under him Leith became recognised as Scotland's leading advertising agency. In 2006, John moved to non-executive Director of Leith and is now Managing Director of  recruitment agency Denholm.  John joined Ambergreen as Chairman in 2007.

Tino Nombro, Managing Director

Tino has worked at the cutting edge of online marketing for over twelve years. As one of Ambergreen’s founders he has shaped the direction of Ambergreen and developed the strategic consultancy the agency delivers.

His enthusiasm for ensuring companies embrace online and achieve outstanding results comes from a strong understanding of business combined with expert knowledge and experience of the Internet.

As well as playing an important and hands on role with clients, Tino is a respected member of the business community and a strong and dynamic business leader.  His vision and energy have been a key factor in Ambergreen’s success.

Grant Whiteside, Technical Director

Grant Whiteside, one of the original founders of Ambergreen, has immersed himself in search since its inception in the late nineties.

A pioneer of organic and paid search techniques, Grant understands that search does not work in a vacuum and is inextricably linked to offline.  Search has always moved at a million miles an hour in a digital world where ten years is lived in ten months.

Social media optimisation and universal search have created enormous opportunities as user generated content reveals the new face of online PR and a fresh approach to user reviews, content and opinion.

Grant oversees the technical team at Ambergreen, introducing new opportunities to clients and ensuring maximum visibility ahead of the competition in the most globally competitive markets.

Eliza Dashwood, Director of Sales and Marketing

A native of California, Eliza Dashwood has worked in the online industry since 2000.

Her interest in digital technology began while working for RVC, the venture capital arm of Reuters whose successful investments included Yahoo!, Verisign, Phone.com, Advertising.com and Infoseek.

Eliza joined Ambergreen in 2003 as account manager before moving to MediaVision in 2006 as Head of Online where she set up the online marketing department.  She has recently re-joined Ambergreen as Business Development Consultant.

Eliza holds a BA in English from San Francisco State University in California.  She later went on to take an MSc in Multimedia Systems and London Guildhall University.
