March 27th, 2007 by pamela

New media sales got a boost today with the news that UK internet advertising revenue is set to pass £2bn for 2006, up from the 2005 figure of £1.4bn.

The Internet Advertising Bureau’s official announcement is expected tomorrow, and while they refused to comment prior to the report release, industry sources said revenues would exceed £2bn as a result of growth in both search and display formats.
