Ambergreen were delighted to win a competitive tender to redesign and plan a new website for EventScotland. EventScotland was established in 2003 to lead the development of a strategic approach to major events through delivery of Scotland's Major Events Strategy - published in November 2002. This will help Scotland to capitalise on the enormous potential of the event tourism market as we work to attract, develop and support major events. We were contracted to plan and design a new website around the existing EventScotland brand and took into consideration existing offline marketing material such as brochureware and newsletters.
We initially undertook high-level design and functional consultations and then moved trhough to the design phase where we individually scoped and designed each specific template for use with EventScotland’s incumbent Content Management System. We also incorporated an intelligent Flash header banner into the site. The new site has just recently been launched.
